Reviving an installation 360
Calling on our expertise to reinvigorate a garden new or old is an often a plea for help when either a client is not happy on how the landscape has been cared for or wishes to ask our advice on implementing a dedicated maintenance regime to bring a garden back to life.
One such plea was made early last year at the new Nine Elms Sky Garden where a client was seeking our advice and guidance on a recently installed Sky Garden on the 35th Floor, an atrium in the 8th and interior garden on the 1st floor. Our maintenance manager and head gardener visited the site and drew up a bespoke maintenance plan for each garden to deliver and meet the client’s desired expectations.
With a dedicated maintenance plan in place, during the following months with Willerby’s own maintenance team on site, the gardens were brought up to reflect the prestigious surroundings of the residential building. Recommendations were also put forward to the client for enhancement planting which were agreed upon and implemented.
Additionally, we did an audit of the irrigation system and programmes for each garden and identified issues which were rectified with the client’s backing, repairs made and watering programmes re-scheduled.
Needless to say, we continue to be on site fulfilling the scope of the maintenance agreement which covers periods for the varying aspects of work and which are also determined by the seasonal factors for each garden levels.
