The quality delivery of public realm projects is of importance to us as it embraces the external open places in our towns and cities that are accessible to all. These are the everyday spaces that the public move through and linger within. We are successful in creating environments from landscape architect designs in which people want to live, work, and enjoy.
High quality public realm projects we have been involved with include the vast regeneration programme for the Olympic Park area, such as the 55 acre QEOP South Park Plaza Pleasure Gardens, the 1.5km Canal Park alongside the Lee Navigation Canal, the reinstatement of the landscape areas around the Olympic Stadium and the transformation of the IBC to the new cultural hub known as Here East. .
Additionally, our involvement with Liverpool ONE involved 170,000 m² redevelopment of under-utilised land in Liverpool city centre. At the heart of this public realm development, we installed a new park, comprising in excess of 22,000m2 of soft and hard landscaping. The park cascades over three storeys of parking, retail and internal public space.
Jubilee Park represents the largest green open space at Canary Wharf, in London. The park has been installed over the existing Canary Wharf Jubilee Line Underground Station and the expansion of the below ground retail malls.
For over 35 years we have endeavoured to deliver consistent and excellent public realm installations. We continue to go from strength to strength within this area having completed a numer of legacy works at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, installing the new parks and gardens within the Kings Cross Development scheme, which is one of the largest public realm regeneration projects currently taking place in London, and we are now working on the North West Cambridge Development, a new district and extension to the City.
